The Austin Association of Insurance Professionals is a non-profit organization serving the community through fundraisers, networking events and charitable donations. As a founding chapter of the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas our members have supported the organization for over 60 years in Austin, Texas.
They are held every third Tuesday of the month from 12:00pm – 1:00pm.

As I quickly approach almost 40 years in the industry, I am often asked why I continue membership in a local insurance “women’s” group after all these years – how much value could I possibly gain? The answer is quite simple – when you attend our local meeting the value of the AAIP is right in front of you. Look around the meeting room and recognize all the men and women you have met during your involvement with AAIP. Think of all the men and women you have met by attending the FIWT annual Mid-Year or Annual Conference. I may get less “hands on” value today than I did 20 years ago, but my friendships through this organization are invaluable to me – I can’t put a price on them. It reminds me of the commercial…. Time to attend the monthly meeting….1 and 1/2 hours; Expense to join AAIP…. $65; Expense to attend the monthly meeting….$25; the value of my friendships…. invaluable!

The two best aspects of AAIP are the people and impact we make in the Austin-area community!! Through the years, I have gotten to know and work with so many great people in all walks of life. The friendships developed are priceless, and I love that the organization has made such a difference for so many people in the Austin area.
